In 2015, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, I left behind a successful career in the financial services industry based in London, to embark on a God adventure with my young daughter.
With the Holy Spirit as our gentle and all-knowing Guide, we stepped out in faith not knowing where we were going or how long the journey would take. What began as a leap of faith, became a walk of faith that would transform our lives forever.
In the Book of Genesis 17:1, Almighty God appeared to Abraham and said, "Walk Before Me and be blameless." During the writing of this manuscript, I came to realize that we were pioneering a similar walk of faith like that of our Patriarch. Galatian's 3:29 says it this way, "And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."
Like Abraham, I was instructed to leave everything behind, including my self-sufficiency, career, and past relationships. In obedience, I stepped out boldly in faith believing with my young daughter, trusting God in the unknown. While on assignment on the island nation of Malta, I would receive several prophetic promises, from the Holy Spirit, which would encourage us to persevere towards our promised land.
With the publication of our testimony, we hope that it will both inspire and encourage other believers to step out in faith boldly, trusting the One who is Faithful and True.
